Know the danger of artificial snow

Some skiing resorts have recourse to artificial snow. Not only are the equipment needed to make some artificial snow harmful for the environment, but the snow itself is harmful, due to the necessary chemical products which pollute the soil, and the impressive quantity of water used to get some artificial snow. In 2003, approximately 10 million cubic metres have been pumped! What's more, snow-launching tubes need dams and water reservoirs, which also pollute.. the sight!
