Choosing your freezer

To avoid too much a waste of cold and thus save energy, it is preferable to opt for a so called ''safe''freezer, rather than a cabinet-style freezer! As the cold tends to descend, when you open the tailgate of a chest freezer, the losses are less important than if you open the freezer door of a ''wardrobe! The energy spent to bring the freezer at the right temperature will be greatly reduced!
